Can I practice in my country after completing my MD (MBBS) degree in Russia?

Yes, an MBBS degree from Russia is globally recognized. You can practice as a doctor in Pakistan after passing a compulsory NLE test (recommended by PMC).

Is the NLE exam mandatory for Russian MBBS graduates in Pakistan?

Yes, according to PMC’s current policy, the NLE exam is mandatory.

How many days are required for admission and visa processing?

Approx. 40 to 50 working days are required for the complete process. (admission Letter, invitation letter, documents translation & visa processing).

Note: This delay occurs because the university sends invitations via Courier Service.

Can I pay my semester fee in instalments?

No, because these universities receive fees and other dues on a semester basis.

How much does a ticket cost to Russia?

75 to 85K PKR Approximately. (Pakistan-Novosibirsk-Kemerovo). The distance between Novosibirsk airport and Kemerovo is 300 kilometres. (3 hours’ drive by road)

What are the charges for consulting services?

$250 per student.

What and how much currency should we have while travelling (either Rubble or American dollar)?

Students pay fees in Rubles (Russian Currency) because Rubles are not easily available in Pakistan at a convenient rate. While travelling students have to carry dollars. We advise all the students to carry the first-semester fee & other mentioned dues with them.

Where will the students pay university dues?

We advise students to pay their dues in their respective departments on the university campus.

What kind of accommodation (Hostels) do Kemerovo state medical university have and how far is it located?

The university has its govt. hostels located within a 300-meter radius. All hostels are fully furnished, centrally heated and equipped. There are separate arrangements for boys and girls.

Up to which semester students are eligible for migration?

Kemerovo State Medical University accepts the migration from the 3rd Semester to the 8th Semester.

Is a bank statement required for applying for MBBS in Russia?

Yes, a 6-month-old Bank statement (guardian) with a closing balance of around 1 to 1.5 Million is required.

Is there an entrance exam needed to get admission?
